The Long Game is a lifetime pursuit — of golf, of place, and of people.
It began as a simple idea: to play golf in all 50 states. Along the way, it became something much more — a way to mark time, travel meaningfully, and share the game with the people I love most.
“Golf is a good walk spoiled.” — Mark Twain
Gorse at St Andrews — a reminder that hazards are part of both golf and life
Golf has taken me to places I never expected — famous courses, forgotten corners, windswept hillsides, and quiet walks with people I love. Some rounds are remembered for the score. Most are remembered for the company.
The Long Game isn’t finished, and it’s not meant to be. It continues with each new course, each familiar walk, and each round shared with the people who matter most. Like the game itself, the value isn’t in reaching the end — it’s in showing up, paying attention, and appreciating the long arc along the way. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon!
